DETAILS

The Sapphire™ Infusion System, made by Hospira, is a unique unit that is built to last. Despite the Sapphire’s small, compact design, it is made with durable Lexan housing that is damage, dust and fluid resistant. The infusion system is designed with a full-color touchscreen, eliminating hard keys that could eliminate future software upgrades.

Reduce infusion preparation time with the Sapphire’s easily programmable preset options. The Sapphire also features quick priming capabilities and an easy snap-on, snap-off mounting system so you can spend less time configuring the unit and more time with your patient.

The Sapphire features multiple confirmation screens and authorization protocols to help maintain high safety standards through every stage of use. Seven alarm parameters address everything including possible occlusion errors, to air in the line and low battery. The Sapphire’s rechargeable, energy-efficient battery is rated for up to 24 hours of use.
