The Intensity 8 Liter Concentrator series is available as a single or dual flow oxygen concentrator. Two separate patients may be treated simultaneously from a dual flow concentrator. Using a single oxygen concentrator to serve two patients reduces the amount of power consumption and less oxygen concentrator purchases. Oxygen therapy patients living in the same home can take advantage of the savings of a single unit to serve two patients! The Dual NewLife Intensity provides 8 LPM output that is regulated by two separate flow meters. One flow meter can output 4 liters of oxygen per minute and the other can also output 4 liters or less. The two flow meters can be divided any way you want as long as the total between the two flow meters does not exceed 8 liters per minute–the concentrators maximum output. The amount of pressure; however, is not split. Both flow meters will deliver at 20 PSI.
NewLife Intensity Oxygen Concentrator is a Stationary Oxygen Concentrator that may be used in clinical settings or for homecare. This oxygen concentrator is manufactured by AirSep, a leader in medical oxygen devices worldwide. The AirSep NewLife Intensity may be used for pediatric application by use of low flowmeter blocks. NewLife Intensity concentrators are available with oxygen monitors to aid in measuring the actual oxygen output at any given instance, helpful for those those living at higher altitudes or on a specified prescription dose.
