Instructions for Walkers and Rollators

Walkers

Basic Walker (without wheels) This is the most common type of walker, and it is available in heavy duty (bariatric) and junior styles. The main difference between a walker and a rollator is that a walker is a frame with handles and legs that needs to be lifted for movement, whereas a rollator has wheels and is pushed.

Rollators

Rollators are designed to be used with someone sitting in them. The welding for the rollator may give out if too much weight is placed upon it. If being pushed while sitting down is something you are looking for, you can look for a rollator and transport chair hybrid to suit your specific needs.
