The MiniMed 670G system with SmartGuard® HCL technology offers two new levels of personalization. The Suspend before lows option avoids lows and rebound highs proactively by automatically stopping insulin 30 minutes before you reach your pre-selected low limits, then automatically restarts insulin when your levels recover, all without bothersome alerts. The Auto Mode‡ option automatically adjusts your basal insulin delivery every 5 minutes based on your sugar levels to keep you in target range, all day and night. Guardian® Sensor 3 continuous glucose monitoring sensor. Introducing the most accurate sensor from Medtronic, now with up to 7 day wear and easy insertion. SPECIFICATIONS

Physical Charateristics
Water Resistance At the time of manufacture and when the reservoir and tubing are properly inserted, your pump is waterproof. It is protected against the effects of being underwater to a depth of up to 12 feet (3.6 meters) for up to 24 hours. This is classified as IPX8 rating. See user guide for more details. The sensor and transmitter are water-resistant at 8 feet (2.4 meters) for up to 30 minutes. CGM readings may not be transmitted from the CGM to the pump while in water.
Sizing The pump dimensions in inches are approximately 2.1 width x 3.78 length x 0.96 depth. The weight of the pump is approximately 3 ounces.
Environmental Conditions The MiniMed 670G insulin pump system is designed to withstand most conditions encountered in your daily life. MiniMed insulin pumps are designed to operate between 41-104°F.

Battery & Power The pump requires one new AA (1.5 V) battery. For best results, use a new AA lithium (FR6) battery. The pump also accepts an AA alkaline (LR6) or a fully charged AA NiMH (HR6) nickel-metal hydride rechargeable battery.

CONTOUR® NEXT LINK 2.4 Glucose Meter The MiniMed 670G system comes with a compatible meter. It wirelessly connects to your pump, allowing you to send BG meter readings to your pump.
CareLink USB Used to upload system data to the diabetes management software using a USB port on your computer.
One-Press Serter The serter is used as an aid for inserting the sensor. It is indicated for single-patient use and is not intended for multiple patient use.
Reservoir Holds insulin and it inserts into your pump. 3.0 ml (300-unit)
